About Dallas Demographics

    Mission

DallasDemographics.com exists to provide free, comprehensive, and accurate demographic, neighborhood, school district, and cost-of-living data for the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. We believe that the people most affected by decisions about where to live, where to invest, and where to do business deserve transparent access to the same data that professional analysts use — without paywalls, registration walls, or upsells.

    Who We Serve

Our audience includes families considering relocation to North Texas, real estate agents and brokers researching specific ZIP codes, marketers and small businesses planning local outreach, journalists and policy analysts, urban planners, academic researchers, and curious residents who simply want to understand the city they live in. The data and tools on this site are designed to be useful whether you are deciding between two neighborhoods or running comparative analysis across the entire DFW metroplex.

    Data Sources

All data on DallasDemographics.com is derived from public, authoritative sources, including the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey (ACS) 5-year estimates for population, age, race and ethnicity, income, and housing tenure; the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for employment and wage figures; the Texas Education Agency for school district accountability ratings; public school district directories and campus performance data; the United States Postal Service for ZIP boundary references; and county appraisal district records where applicable. We cite sources throughout the site and link back to original datasets wherever possible.

    Our Approach

No paywalls. No email gates. No newsletter pop-ups. The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising so that core data and tools remain free for everyone. We focus on clarity over flash — clean tables, plain-language explanations of methodology, and direct links to source datasets so any figure can be independently verified.

    Part of a Larger Network

DallasDemographics.com is part of a growing network of independently operated city-data sites covering major U.S. metropolitan areas. Each site is built on the same data integrity standards and editorial approach, with content tailored to the unique geography, history, and civic structure of its city.

    Update Frequency

Demographic and economic figures are refreshed on a monthly cadence as we incorporate revisions and corrections. When the Census Bureau releases new ACS 5-year estimates (typically each December), and when TEA releases updated accountability ratings (typically each fall), we incorporate those data within 30 days. Questions, corrections, or partnership inquiries are welcome via our Contact page.
